These Application Sheets are designed to be used by people who have little knowledge of the use of polymer composites in construction . In particular, they are targeted at engineering students at undergraduate level who are perhaps not fully aware of the potential of polymer composites and of the advantages over conventional materials such as steel, reinforced concrete and timber. They are designed to be brief, and to quickly indicate to the reader further sources of information such as websites and research papers.
