Project Overview

The effects of climate change are already being noticed in the U.K. Key periods for the predicted changes fall into the lifetime of existing buildings but greater changes are likely to be endured by new buildings.

This project will provide many parts of industry with the information they need on climate change by examining the impact that predicted climate changes will have on roofs.

Discussions with the supply chain and with roof insurers will allow modifications to existing design and good practice to be made to ensure that buildings continue to perform under the changing climatic conditions.
