BRE's
comprehensive airtightness service helps building designers and contractors
to meet Part L2 of the Building Regulations and minimises the risk
of having to undertake complicated and expensive remedial work, and
re-testing. In particular, we aim to make life as simple as possible
for clients, guiding them through the new procedures to a successful
conclusion.
BRE is accredited to carry out airtightness tests on buildings in
accordance with CIBSE TM23.

Preparing for testing
Clients are provided with instructions on how to prepare their buildings
for testing. This enables us to get the job done as quickly as possible,
with the minimum disruption for the contractor.
