Relationship to Whole Life Costing

Awareness of Whole Life Costing (WLC) is growing within the UK construction industry. It has been identified as a mechanism to deliver improved value for money⁵ and Government clients are targeted with using WLC in 100% of procurement projects by March 2003⁶.
